If the person has passed away at home

When a death occurs at home the first step is to contact the deceased's General Practitioner (GP). The GP will issue a Medical Certificate of Causes of Death if the deceased has a related medical history on record. Once we have the GP's confirmation we can then transfer the deceased into our care at the funeral home.
