At Wellington ICU on Monday 5 April 2021 with Judith holding his hand. Aged 74. Cherished husband and very best friend of Judith. Dearly loved and respected father, father-in-law and Pop of Richard, Monique, Theo and Xanthe (Dusseldorf); Andrew, Ivy, Eliza and Joe (Sydney); Nicki and Anna (Melbourne). Loved brother of Stephanie and Merilee. A loved brother-in-law and uncle. Chester was a humble, stoic, strong family man and respected friend to many. He battled his health issues in a positive way for thirteen years and is now at peace. Messages to the Clark Family, c/- Box 1014, Palmerston North 4440. A private cremation has been held. A celebration of Chester’s life will be held at The Lychway, 5 Roy Street, Palmerston North, on Friday 23 April, at 11.00am. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Manawatu Amateur Radio Society would be appreciated. A box for donations will be available at the service.
