19.2.1948 – 31.7.2022
Passed away peacefully at Julia Wallace Retirement Village. Dearly loved wife of Graham, dearly loved mother of Robert and Daniel. Loved mother-in-law to Jen, and Nana to Alice. Much loved sister of Julian, Tina (deceased) and Liz (deceased). At peace after the harsh onslaught of dementia and lung cancer. Grateful thanks to the staff at Julia Wallace Hospital Unit, and to the palliative care team at Arohanui Hospice. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the NZ Brain Research Institute would be appreciated, and can be left at the service. A celebration of Jeanette’s life will be held at The Lychway Chapel, 5 Roy Street, Palmerston North, on Friday 12 August 2022 at 2.00pm.
