5.10.29 – 20.9.23 Peacefully at Palmerston North Hospital. Loved wife of Jack (dec). Mother of Wayne, Gary and Diane, Ross and Suzanne. Nana of Anna, Mark, Karl, Ryan, Emma, Ben, James and Sarah. Nana Betty to her 17 Grea- Grandchildren. Loved daughter of the late Walter and Mary Mortensen and sister of Vincent (dec). Betty was the last grandchild of Knud and Rangdi Andersen, Norsewood who immigrated from Norway on the “Hovding” in 1872. A huge thank you to the Doctors and Staff of the Opal Ward for their dedicated care to Betty. A service for Betty will be held at The Lychway Chapel, 5 Roy Street, Palmerston North on Wednesday 27th September at 1.00pm.
