Passed away peacefully on Friday, June 10, 2022, with her girls by her side. Dearly loved mum of Cushla, Emily and Tyrone. Loved nana of her 5 grandchildren. Much loved sister of Philip, Jane, and sister-in-law of Richard. A service to celebrate Helen’s life will be held in The Lychway Chapel, 5 Roy St, Palmerston North on Thursday, June 16, at 11.00am, followed by private cremation.

PHILBIN, Anne-Marie:
Born 22 August 1942 in New Jersey, USA. Died peacefully at the Palmerston North Hospice, New Zealand, on 4th June 1942. Wife of Dr Ray Thorburn, NZ. Kaiako Nui – Great teacher and loving mother of Patrick and Duncan Bywater (USA), & stepmother of Mark Thorburn and Sally Thorburn (NZ). A private cremation has taken place.

Passed away peacefully on Monday 13 June 2022, with family by his side, after a short illness. Loved son of Jos and the late Bob. Cherished brother of Sue. Father of Katie, and grandfather of Hayley, Melanie, and Bradley. Loved uncle of Ritchi and Marlynda, and Leana. Great-uncle of Talia, Narissa, Tayla, Te Aihe, Kaea, and Te Keira. Peacefully at Palmerston North Hospital on 21 May 2022, in his 88th year. Loving husband of Shirley. Much loved father of Trevor and Wendy, Lyn and Phil, and Michele and Geoff. Grandad to Kylie, Christi, Sam, and Steph. Great-grandad to Bailey, Savarna, Adrian, and Isla. Treasured by all the family and sadly missed. In accordance with Doug’s wishes, a private funeral has been held.
