Our beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather, husband to Marita Mangin, peacefully passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021, in Palmerston North, aged 86. Family and friends will be holding a Memorial service for Ray at Lychway Funeral Directors, on October 2, at 5 Roy Street, Palmerston North at 1.00pm.

ONAS, Arghiro (Rebecca):
Passed away peacefully on Sunday 5th September 2021 at Palmerston North Hospital. Dearly loved wife of the late Andrew, and loved and respected mother and mother-in-law of Stella and Jim Bares and George and Penny. Loved grandmother of Andrew and Jonathan, Abbie and Jeremy, & great-grandmother of Oliver, Eva, Harry and Eddie. Special thanks to the staff at Ward 25 (OPAL) for caring for Mum. A covid restricted service for Rebecca will be held today at the Sacred Church of St John the Forerunner, 30 Rochester St, Palmerston North, and thereafter interment at Kelvin Grove Cemetery. In lieu of floral tributes donations may be made to the Church of St John or left at the service.

SMETHURST, Brenda:
Aged 83 years. Passed away peacefully in the presence of family on September 5, 2021, at Julia Wallace Retirement Village, Palmerston North. Brenda led a wonderful life and left behind many cherished memories. She will be remembered fondly by her husband Arthur, loved mother and mother-in-law of Leigh and Rachel, Dean and Annelise, Kim and Dave. Loved grandmother of Chelsea and Madison, Jed, Riki and Ella. Great-grandmother of Benjamin, Stanley and Vincent. A private cremation has been held, interment will follow at Ohope Beach in the New Year. Beloved wife of Trevor King, mother of Linda Watson (deceased). Nanna of Taryn Baines and Great-Nanna of Olivia and Liam Baines. Much loved by all her Whanau. Due to Covid restrictions a private family service was held on Monday 6 September 2021, followed by interment at Kelvin Grove Cemetery, Palmerston North. Grateful thanks to the Palmerston North Hospital and Arohanui Hospice for their loving care of Oriwa.

PHILLIPS, Paul Cameron:

Passed away peacefully in the Palmerston North Hospital on Sunday August 29, 2021. Aged 58 years. Dearly loved son of Fran and Dave Gibbs and the late Reginald Paul Perepe-Perana (Phillips). At his request and due to COVID level 4 lockdown cremation has already taken place and a celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. He will be sadly missed by his large family of nine siblings and many nieces and nephews. Grateful thanks to his daughter Amber-Jane for being by his side during his last days.

VUKCEVIC, Slavko:
Passed away at his home peacefully, holding the hand of his beloved wife, after a long battle. Very much loved by his loving wife Anka for 52 years. Loved and respected father and father-in-law of Michael & Kiri; and Lazar. And a much loved grandfather to Luka, Noah; and Danielle. Due to the current Covid restrictions a private burial will take place with a memorial service to be held at a later date once the current restrictions allow.
