Margaret passed away peacefully with family by her side at Palmerston North Hospital on Wednesday 5th August 2020, aged 93. Treasured daughter of George and Nellie Simpson, loved sister of Ron and the late Elsa, Jack, Jill and Colin. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Stephanie and Paul Johansen and Robert Payne. Cherished Grandma of Aimee, Kirsten and Regan. Adored Great-Grandma of Jimmy, Eva and George. Helen passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday 16th July 2020, aged 91. Dearly loved wife of the late Alan (Joe). MARTIN, Margaret Joyce:
Passed away at Palmerston North Hospital on Tuesday 14 July 2020, surrounded by her loving family, aged 95 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Tom. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Peter (dec) and Anne; Roger and Karen; Linda; Bruce and Donna; Trevor and Ngaire. Loved Gran of her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A service to celebrate Margaret’s life will be held at the Kelvin Grove Crematorium Chapel, James Line, Palmerston North, on Friday 17 June 2020 at 1.00pm. In lieu of flowers a donation to PN Rescue Helicopter can be left at the service or posted to PO Box 370, Palmerston North. DAY, Trevor Fredrick:
Passed away peacefully on 11th July 2020, in his 78th year. Much loved husband of Wendy, cherished father to Althea, Kirsten and Brandon, and grandfather to Mitchell, Jordon, Olivia and Bradon. A memorial will be held at The Lychway, 5 Roy Street, Palmerston North, on Wednesday 29th July 2020 at 2.00pm. Please join us in remembering Trevor.

COOMBS, Mary Seymour:
Passed away peacefully at Duart Hospital, Havelock North, on July 7, 2020. Loved wife of Philip Coombs (deceased), dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Cathrine and Marco, adored grandma of Caitlin and Elise, sister to the late Eddie, Dave, Albert and Roger. Thank you to all the wonderful caregivers, doctor and nurses Mary had over the years that enabled her to stay in her villa at Mary Doyle for so long, and then more recently at Duart Hospital. Our very dear and precious Thora passed away peacefully at Julia Wallace Retirement Home on 26 June 2020, surrounded by family and friends. Beloved wife and dedicated life partner of Mark for 48 years. Mother of Charlotte, Christina and Mette (in Denmark). Sister of Flemming and Karsten (in Denmark). Grandmother for Sofia and Casper-Adam (in Denmark). A service to commemorate Thora’s life will be held at The Lychway Chapel, 5 Roy Street, Palmerston North, on Tuesday 30 June at 2.00pm, followed by a private cremation.

Dennis Maxwell (Farmer):
Passed away peacefully on 27 June 2020, aged 78. Dennis will be remembered for his love of farming, his cows, kindness, determination, integrity and his many achievements over the years.
He will be forever and sadly missed by all.

On 16 June 2020, died suddenly but peacefully in Palmerston North, aged 87. Dearly loved husband of Elaine for 64 years. Loved father of Deborah and John, father-in-law of Barry. Passed away peacefully on Tuesday 16 June 2020, at Metlifecare Rest Home, aged 94. Dearly loved husband of Joan for 67 years. A loved grandfather to Matthew, Christopher; Jeffery; Rachel, Alison, Douglas, Daniel; Kathryn, Michelle, and Stephanie. And a loved great-grandfather and great-great-grandfather. Sadly passed away after a long illness on 13 June 2020. Much loved wife for 59 years of Graham. Much loved mother and mother in-law of Vicki & Steve, Brent & Anna, Daryl & Nicola. Loved nana of Nicole, Sarah, Sharnea, Brittany (deceased), Jessica, Rachael and Michelle. Much loved great-nana of Nevaeh. Loved sister and sister-in-law of the late Pam and Jim McHardy.
