BULMER, Ian Douglas:
On 6th June 2019 after a courageous battle. Dearly loved husband of Val (née Hunt). Loved father and father-in-law of Stefan and Debbie (Tauranga) and Kylie and Aaron (USA), loved Poppa of Samantha, Hannah, Neeve, Caitlin, Sophie and Liana. Brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend of many. According to Ian’s wishes, a private cremation has been held. A memorial service will be held at the Palmerston North Cosmopolitan Club, 22 Linton Street, Palmerston North, on Friday 14th June 2019 at 1.00pm.

KING, Maryanne (née Wiringi):
Palmerston North 19.4.1944 – 5.6.2019 (aged 75)
On Wednesday, June 5th, 2019, Maryanne King, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, extended family and friends peacefully passed away at her home after a long illness. Maryanne, will be forever remembered by her children and partners, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren whom she adored. She will also be remembered by extended family and dear friends. Maryanne will always be fondly remembered for the kindness she had for others. Her love for family, church and the community showed through in her hospitality, opening her home and spending many hours cooking. People always knew they were welcome at her home for a meal in a warm place. A celebration of Maryanne’s life will be held at the Seventh-day Adventist Church, 257 Ferguson Street, Palmerston North, on June 10th, 2019, at 10.00am, followed by interment at the Kelvin Grove Cemetery, James Line, Palmerston North. HOLDSWORTH, Phillis:
Peacefully in the presence of family at Olive Tree Rest Home, Palmerston North, on Tuesday 4 June 2019, aged 86 years. Loved wife of the late Murray. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Wayne and Cath; Diane and Kelvin and grandmother to Claire, Laura and Amelia. McQUEEN, Eric:
On 29 May 2019, at Julia Wallace Retirement Village. In his 93rd year. Much loved husband of the late Yola Frances McQueen (nee King) and father of Ian, Peter and Ross. Devoted Poppa to his seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Manawatu representative sportsman in many codes. Past President and Life Member of the Palmerston North Golf Club. Eric’s family especially thank the Julia Wallace staff who cared for him and family and friends who visited in his last few weeks. A service to celebrate Eric’s life will be held at The Lychway Chapel, 5 Roy St, Palmerston North, on Friday 7 June 2019, at 2.00pm. Private cremation to follow.

Passed away suddenly at the Palmerston North Hospital on Friday 24 May 2019, aged 86 years. Dearly loved husband and friend of Jennifer. Loved Dad of the late Howard. A loved brother and uncle.
