Peacefully at Arohanui Hospice on Friday 7 September 2018, aged 80 years. Dearly loved wife of Gordon for 61 years. Much loved and respected sister, mum, grandma and great grandma and friend to many. Special thanks to Arohanui Hospice and Dr Karl Gilchrist. A service for Chris will be held at St John the Evangelist Anglican Church, 16 Camden Street, Feilding on Wednesday 12 September 2018 at 1.30pm followed by private cremation. CKY 773345, Royal Navy 1945-1948; NZ 12214, Korea 1948-1951. Passed away peacefully on 27 June 2018. Aged 90 years. Loved husband of Kathleen Mary Taunt (deceased). Loved brother of Marion Hollier (England). Loved father of Rosemarie and father-in-law to Robin; father to Gary and Julie. Loved grandad to 12, loved great-grandad of 23 and loved great-great-grandad of 5. A service for George will be at The Lychway Chapel, 5 Roy Street, Palmerston North, on Monday 2 July 2018 at 11.00am, followed by burial at Kelvin Grove Cemetery. George passed away peacefully at Arohanui Hospice on the morning of 6th December 2018, aged 81. He is a dearly loved dad, grandad, and adored Georgie to his extended family, and a special loved friend to so many. A life member of the Kia Toa RFC and member of the Maw-Haw’s social club.
