Dearly loved husband of Ngan Kiu (Gill) Wai (deceased). Much loved father and father-in-law of Donald & Kuljira, Debbie & Tony, Darren & Maureen, Dennis & Catherine, Donna & Kevin, Diana & Murray, Darryl & Louise, Denise & Adam. He was an adored Goong Goong and Yeh Yeh to 17 grandchildren. A private family service has been held according to Don Mun’s wishes. Passed away peacefully at Elmwood House, Napier, surrounded by his loving family, on Monday 20 December 2021, aged 91 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Vita and the late Jo. Much loved Dad of Rob and Marilyn, loved father-in-law of Vicki and Sean. Loved and respected grandad to Clint, Melanie, Aaron, Scott, Kelsey, Jack and Cameron. Great-grandad to many. A service for Skip will be held at The Lychway Chapel, 5 Roy Street, Palmerston North, on Thursday 30 December 2021 at 2.00pm. You will need your vaccine pass to attend. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Alzheimer’s Society Manawatu would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Skip’s family extends their heartfelt thanks for the compassionate care given to him by the Elmwood House staff.

Treasured mother and mother-in-law to Keitha and Graham (Nelson), Grant and Jo (Melbourne), Nana to Megan, Bevan, Sarah, Michelle and the late Paul, and Great-Nan for Liam, Aislinn, Louis and Sylvie. A Requiem Mass for Vilma will be held at St Brigid’s Church, 27 Wakeman Street, Pahiatua, on Thursday 30 December 2021 at 11.00am, followed by interment at Mangatainoka Cemetery.
