Passed away peacefully at Arohanui Hospice on 8th March 2020, aged 66 years. Dearly loved husband of Liz and the late Linley. Loved father and father-in-law of Jolene and Dom and Gareth and Siali. Loved grandfather to all of his grandchildren. Special friend to Chris and Jo; Sara and Gavin and Jen. Respected brother and brother-in-law to Kathy and Pat, Janet and Ross and Heather and Lars. William Donald Claude (Don):
Passed away peacefully with the ones he loved at Cook Street Nursing Care Centre, Palmerston North, on Tuesday 25 February 2020, aged 77 years. Dearly loved son of the late Bill and Ida Weddell. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of Irene and the late Ian Southey and Leonie (deceased) and Ian Prout. Don was part of a large extended family all of whom cherished and enjoyed all he had to offer whether as a son, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, nephew or cousin. We were all the richer for having Don in our lives. Sincere thanks to the staff at Cook Street Nursing Care Centre for their genuine love and understanding care of Don. WEST, Doreen Helen Lucy:
Passed away peacefully after a long battle on Thursday 13 February 2020. Dearly loved wife of the late Laurie. Loved mother of Tania (deceased) and Nicola and respected mother-in-law of Kerry and Jason. Loved Narnee of Joshua, Corey, Ben and Alex and loved great-grandmother of Lily. Our sincere thanks to the staff at Radius Peppertree for their care of Doreen. According to Doreen’s wishes a private interment at Mangatainoka Cemetery has taken place. Passed away suddenly on Sunday 9 February 2020, aged 45 years. Loved dad of Jayejay, Kassandra, and Christopher. Loved son of the late Peter and Sue Smith.
