WALSHE, Edward Terence

Of Palmerston North (formerly of Eketahuna). Passed away peacefully at Chiswick Park Resthome on 6 October 2023. He now joins his dearly loved wife Biddy, loved son Brian and daughter Colleen Gredig, all deceased. Family and friends attended a Requiem Mass to celebrate Terry’s life at Our Lady of Lourdes Church on 13 October followed by interment in the Kelvin Grove Lawn Cemetery. PICKFORD, Christopher John

Passed away at Palmerston North Hospital on September 18, 2023 after a short illness. Left this world aged 78, surrounded by love, appreciation, and thanks from his family around the globe. Much loved husband of Gloria for 49 years, and father to Ricky, Alicia, Jonathan, Jeremy, and Christine. Brother of Ian, and son of the late John and Joyce. He leaves behind many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, in-laws, cousins, and so much more – a testament to his kindness, generosity, and love for his cherished extended family. Chris was farewelled at a small private ceremony in Palmerston North on September 26, before being driven to his final resting place at Pyes Pa in Tauranga the following day – leading a group of his loved ones on one last road trip.
